Shinwa-Kai Karate Club Australia Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to provide a program of sports karate, catering to a diverse age and physical abilities within the Wagga Wagga community. The Club promotes and teaches students in the 'Shitoryu ' style of karate, as well as preparing the students for competitions in accordance to the rules and regulations set by the World Karate Federation (WKF).
The Club also aims to promote Karate as a physical art, a technique of self-defence and a sport. Students are encouraged to practise Karate according to one's fitness, for recreational participation or for competitive sports.
Discipline, mutual respect and team-work are the values in which the Club upholds in training the students to achieve physical fitness, mental alertness and to build confidence, self-esteem and strong character.
Shinwa-Kai Karate Club Australia Inc. is an affiliate member of NSW Karate Federation and Shinwa-Kai Karate Club (Singapore).
